Founder & Owner, Occupational Therapist
LaShelle is an occupational therapist who specializes in pediatric care, with extensive experience in working in a variety or pediatric settings, from medical research and working with pediatric neurologists and behavioral and developmental pediatricians, to working with a multi-disciplinary team specializing in care for Autistic and neurodiverse children, to early intervention and clinic based therapy, and school-based therapy. LaShelle has a deep understanding of sensory processing and child development, and she embodies a persistent drive to learn and connect with others in knowledge sharing and collaboration. LaShelle has a strong appreciation for evaluation and understanding how children move through the world, and this guides her in creating individualized fun, safe, and exploratory therapy experiences for children.

LaShelle started her career as an occupational therapist in 2014 after graduating from the B.S./M.S. Occupational Therapy program at Dominican University with Summa Cum Laude honors. LaShelle has spent the last 10 years gaining experience and knowledge working with neurodiverse children and collaborating and co-treating with other pediatric therapy providers including ABA, Speech, Music Therapy, Physical Therapy, and LCSW/MFTs. Through her experience in leadership as a Lead Mentor, Clinical Supervisor, and Associate Director of Sensorimotor and Communication Therapies, LaShelle values ethical integrity and building strong professional and community relationships, and she possesses skills in advocating for children and families through knowledge, empathy and compassion.
